I think not many of us might realize the resemblance in game covers, but that doesn't mean that movie titles aren't fallen back behind O.O
Kinda weird if you asked me, used to see a picture before where they show the psychological colors of movie posters, but not sure where those went....

But then again there's just so many part of the human body we can use~~

First Wing Chun Class

well there are just some things in life you've just gotta try XD

honestly I am not really sure why I am doing this, but then again I'm not having any regrets about it too~~

but yeah, did not even know about this fist form at all till I watched the movie that everyone might've heard of, Ip Man... and from there you could see the fighting style in the movie which stood out from most other Kung Fu movies was because it looked real, simple movements, but real fighting and not like the usual Chinese movies where the character would mindlessly fly around the whole city, jumping on roof's and bamboo shoots~
and from then on I became really interested in learning, could this be a form of media influence??? I guess so..... very highly~

well of course to find a place to learn is always the problem, because google malaysia doesn't seem to be that all helpful at all...
not to mention one of these little wooden thingy would cost around a crazy price of RM1900+.. -_-"

BUT eventually I managed to find a place that teaches Wing Chun.... and to a weird and odd way, it's actually located ultra nearby my house *oh joy*

price is actually really reasonable, a very small place with a few students... but I like it, has a very vintage, old feel to it ~~ some of the student's aren't that bad too and easy to mix around with, but some are a pain (there's one in every place), then the forms are also a problem at first, to keep the body posture right, to move the legs correctly and in sync with the punches... but thanks to some of the student's guidance it all seems a little easier to learn together, some of them look really good, but they only had 2 months of training... huh~ well that's inspiring =]

either way, we'll see how things go la, can't really say much after a first class though~~ wish me luck :)

I Think I'm Going Broke

I think I'm gonna be broke soon -_-

I know the basic principle of like is to save your money for a rainy day, but sometimes the temptations of the world is so great.......... but then again also.... sometimes money can't bring you happiness but it sure can be used to bring out the best of the time at the moment~~
here's what came in the mail this week~~ yes I did a pre-order for the first time in my life, for the price I got I'd say it's really a deal, along with the free shipment all the way from Singapore~ crazy fun game~ this is supposily a "Steelbook" edition.... but it isn't steel... just a very nice quality plastic.... worse to worse there was a little dent on the corner, but I don't complain~ just as long as the game is working I'm fine with it~~
got this too though... got to share the cost with friend so it won't be that painful~
not quite sure why I got this game though, but got it at a 2nd hand price which is really cheap so.... ah well, not that damaging~~

and with those three games I thought that I should be ready for my upcoming December holiday to go wild~

till I saw this.........
a remake of the most epic game in the world now remaked into HD -_-"

and honestly I have no idea what I was doing but I suddenly ended up pre-ordering it.... now I stop to think what in the world have I done -_-"
not to mention it wasn't too long ago when game designer Hideo Kojima announced a remake of Zone of the Enders into HD too....... -_-

Either way I think I'm going to be cutting myself from a lot of meals to repay the damage done to my wallet

But yeah I think I went a little overboard now..... taking some time to repent at the moment and drown myself in regret by playing till I form on the weekends~ but yeah no buying anymore things at the moment !!!

Thank goodness I still have a fair amount of my savings left so still not that bad~

This must be like how a girl feels like after shopping... whew~~

I think being forgetful is one of the worse feelings ever....

Probably time to get myself a planning book or whatever you call it, planner?? Don't know... either way now I am not even being able to remember some dates... not like literally forgetting everything, but just sometimes not remembering some details like the date of a meeting till on the exact day when the boss tends to call up and remind me

But what kinda got more serious was when I forgot my Flickr account password and couldn't update a single picture at all for the past few months till I just managed to figure it out today -_-

Not to mention I kinda forgot my Play Station Network password also.... which is getting to be kind of weird cause I use an international, universal password on most of my accounts so the chances of this happening is kinda odd.... oh well~~ at least my password on my PS3 does an auto-login so it's all still safe and can still do multiplayer~~ =]

Ahh well... term's coming to an end~ work is piling up, still wondering how can finish everything before the holidays then go wild XD

Blogging Doesn't Seem All That Fun Anymore

Blogging doesn't seem to be that fun anymore........

I remember those days of staying up late night just to write up a blog post and wait till morning to copy and paste that post and upload it with such great joy.... even spending hours just resizing some pictures to upload it and show the world... but somehow recently it doesn't seem so fun anymore....

Of course I'm not against the blogging thingy, in fact I'm thankful for blogging, because typing so much has made my fingers so used with the keyboard that I no longer have to look at it to type, therefore taking notes in class is easier, and I can even feel when I've pressed a wrong key, and writing down a lot of reflections is also useful when writing reflection papers for some assignments.... 5 pages in an hour isn't much of a problem too!

But somehow the blogging world isn't so IN anymore? Not sure... of maybe cause my blog by itself seems to be dying already... not to mention now my cbox is being filled with spam everyday, even the comments on some of my post is being filled with so much different kinds of spam... and no that's not an indication that your blog is suddenly filled with people commenting on it, but rather spam by don't know which fella.... so it's kind of depressing sometimes...
then again still trying to find that motivation to write more and do more... even had thoughts of deleting my whole blog already and just quit blogging... but I'm not sure anymore~

either way still thinking about it, but see how la unless motivation strikes me hard~ but we'll see how things go....

but yeah... any suggestions for a new chatterbox on the side?? I need to get rid of my cbox already cause of the spam... looking for a new spam-free-proof kinda thing.... so yeah for those who have wrote on the side and I still thank you for reading it... but if you can maybe until I find a new spam proof one, just comment on the posts... it'll be so much easier~ besides I don't even go thru the cbox history to check ~~

New Language

whew.......

Huh…….. for one of today’s presentation we had to do a language learning thing, because now we are being taught by a lecturer that knows around 22 languages… in which is kinda crazy if you think about it, I thought I was quite good already to know around 5 languages~~

But either way she taught us some of the methods, but the methods were quite similar to the style that was used by my Japanese teacher when I was learning Japanese then… of course couldn’t finish the whole course cause of college work and stuff… but either way one of the assignment we had to do for the week was to find a helper to teach us a language, then record the person saying that language down, repeat and repeat and repeat till you get it… etc etc and so forth… everyone had their own language to choose, hokkien, Hainan, Nepal, mandarin, Cambodian, orang asli malay, etc. for me ah…. Huh…. Well I just decided to give Japanese another try and had mrs.Chee to help me with the recording… it would be embarrassing to her if I uploaded the audio recording of her voice, so I’ll just put down what I had to say in class:

① こんにちわ。わたしの名前は。。。。です。どうぞよろしくおねがいします。

(hello. my name is .... please to meet you,

konnichiwa. watashi no namae ha .... desu. douzo yoroshiku onegaishimasu.)

② わたしはマレーシア人です。

either way everything went well while I was presenting.... but somehow screwed up at the 5th one and begun to panic so I think I might've said something wrong....

ahhhh.... dun bother la at least I'm done with it~ but hopefully I did well...

urrrrrrrrrrr.............. I wanna sleep...........................

Tired, tired tired tired tired…. Having a mixed combination between morning classes and my Christian duty too at the same time isn’t a pleasant feeling… why?? Well I guess cause having an intense course now where I’m given an assignment every day, and a huge amount of readings to finish within a week… which isn’t all THAT bad… as I said to myself…

Another thing to add on to the hard course would be the college putting me in charge of making breakfast in the morning… yes they just had to do it… in which my schedule would be

1. Wake up at 6am
2. Drag myself across the cold street to the college kitchen in the darkness of 6am
3. Clean up kitchen at 6am in the morning
4. Take care of the rat that was caught in the cage at 6am
5. Take out the bread it’s friends and set them on the table at 6am
6. Wait for the people to come and eat at 6:45am
7. Clean up everything at 7:15am
8. Go back and prepare for 8am class

Have I mentioned these were done beginning from 6am in the morning? And every day I’m honestly just falling asleep in class, bought myself 30 sweets for RM2 in the pasar malam and I think it’s barely even working for me, green tea isn’t keeping me awake too… besides, I’m not a coffee person, never loved the taste of it~ only way of survival is to survive till 10:00am where we have a 30min break and thus I’ll just pass out on the table and hopefully nobody comes to kacau me… people can get kinda dangerous when they are sleepy~

Somehow I wonder to myself everyday as I drag myself to the kitchen in 6am in the morning in the cold darkness that is this my punishment because I haven’t really been waking up faithfully at 6am in the morning for the past 4 years in college life???? I don’t know…….. but I know that my God is a sure joker and this might be another one of his ways of teaching me, or punishing me -_-

Urrrr man….not having that much time to spam my ps3 too… how I miss those days… now after 2hours I feel tired of playing already… this is bad… no time no time.. busy busy… wooooo….

Either way I think I’ve gotta be getting back to my work now, oh Lord….

Life's a Beach

I think I wanna get back into blogging again.....

It's really been a darn ultra super long crazy long time since I've ever blogged.... and it's been super long, and I know it because I just lost an interest to just go online to my blogger and blog about whatever has been happening in life...

One reason was cause of a crazy super ultra year, with workloads and assignments and readings that can drive a man close to insanity till a moment where I just didn't wanna blog again.. (final year of course) and if those who were following me most of the time even wondered where I haven't done a shoot nor have I been updating on pictures more than I usually do....

I don't know.... I guess at this moment of business I've kinda even got bored of looking for time to go and take pictures, gotta apologize too to those who were harassing me asking for a photoshoot but I couldn't find the time to go out with you to do it... whew...

I've also stopped doing a lot of things already... but as time gone by, not doing all that I usually do, it can make a person rusty very fast~

why so??? Well recently I've met a friend who wanted to learn photoshop so I decided to teach her a few, but then while I was teaching her I suddenly couldn't remember how I did some of my stuff, I forgot how some hotkeys functioned already and other stuff...

not to mention that I think my photography skills have started to rust a bit, somehow my camera gear doesn't seem to be working as good as it originally should...

Hmmmmm......................

worse to worse.... I think after not taking pictures for some time my camera has poped out some odd little spots in it....

here's the example of how dirty my lens/camera is now....

took me awhile to remove all the dots bit by bits though.... stressful cycle...

till I became a little scared that my camera would begin to mold soon... so I got myself this dry box... ki siao rm280 suddenly gone =(

either way.... I guess putting off what you love doing isn't all that good, but rather even at the moment of busy-ness one shouldn't put aside the things that makes you, you... if not when you wanna do it again, well it'll be darn hard to get it back again... sigh.... either way~ will try to step back into blogging... slowly... since now having a crazy crash course at the moment now~~

Other than that..... trying to practice more on black n white pictures at the moment.... this picture was a failed one though... they were supposed to do a heart shaped jump shot... oh well~~

Ever heard of Planking???

I think it's not really an IN thing in Malaysia yet??? But in the western part of the world it's kind of a new trend already in taking pictures, and it's kinda like now jump shot pics are like so out-dated already or something...
Planking.... in which I have no idea what it actually means, but mainly which is to just lie down on any object and straighten your whole body straight like a... erm... plank??? Then so forth and take a picture~~
Of course we would've agreed that Snoopy was the first who invented Planking.... but yeah for those who are still in the dark... well..... here's planking~~
I'm not quite sure but this picture of this Taiwan girl was the first picture that I saw.... then from this it came more pictures of people lying on the ground, streetlights, etc.... maybe she started it??? I have no idea.....

A Day of Change Perhaps???

After months of not blogging because of a total business and lost of inspiration.... never thought I would come back to blog about such a thing in my mind now~~

Even though this is worldwide news right now, but if you're a Malaysian this would mean so much more, of how such a normal day turned into a day that words could not describe... for those who do not know what is happening at all in you're country... well today is the day where BERSIH marches for a clean, fair vote in the election, in which I too would think it as a good thing.. but somehow out of alot of complications and people who make this sound illegal, well things have gotten abit out of hand this week...
a crazy and massive jam all over the place with roadblocks even turning 4 lanes into one lane
where a 15min drive to work turned into a disastrous 1hour and 30min drive instead.... then came alot of tension in the air...

especially today before the march began one could feel a heavy atmosphere everywhere, some wondering out of fear what might happen today?? Some might even think that this is the beginning of something good... well...... it was an interesting day though...

how much people turned out??? I have no idea, but the massive numbers have showed how many people wanted to march for a change, for fairness in this nation...
people walking around with the Malaysian flags held in their hands, not even worried of the huge crowd, the smelly armpits nor the fear of what might wait for them in the corner...
Especially since the riot police is getting ready to strike already if they continued to march...
and why is that guy siting there for I have no idea -_-"
But then again it became kinda chaotic at first, where water canons were fired at the people, tear gas bombs were thrown at them, some even being knocked by the canisters and being greatly injured that quite a number of them had to be hospitalized, then over 1000+ were caught by the police too...
Of course when the rain came the tear gas didn't seem to be of much effect already, but that didn't really stop them though, worse thing to happen was when they shot a tear gas into a maternity hospital... and then I felt that, that was already too much, if they killed a baby in the process.. man... they're gonna be in a lot of trouble...

But honestly.... watching the videos and the pictures, even the updates on tweeter... I would honestly wonder why the police are using brute force on people who are unarmed??? especially since this is a peaceful march, not a revolution of overturning the king or something...

But overlooking all the bad things that happened in the day... one can find a whole lot of beauty in the other things that have happened today..
Of how the people that gather today regardness of their weakness and problems

of both the young and the old that chose to march for justice and for what's right
of how some would put themselves in danger for others

but what I was most happy and impressed to see today was how united our people were, regardless of race, whether it be Chinese, Malay, Indian, or any other race that was there, our racial differences didn't matter anymore, it wasn't anymore a battle of who's better or who's worse, but it was a picture of one another holding hands and walking in the same direction together in unity...

and honestly if this is how 1Malaysia is supposed to be like, I can see beautiful things happening in our country already if we all begin to work together and to not see our differences as a barrier... I mean, even our government couldn't bring us together with his 1Malaysia idea, and here's the people getting united themselves over one purpose XD

another beautiful thing was knowing that we weren't alone in this~~
knowing that our fellow Malaysians in the other countries were also supporting us by gathering together in their own countries and giving us their support
even Melbourne, Australia wasn't left out :D

there are much more but I can't find a suitable picture for it though... oh well :)

But this day made me realize actually what a beautiful country we live in, I have to admit over the years I've really disliked this country for many reasons, even thinking of giving up on this country... but looking today of the unity and that Malaysian Spirit.. I have to say I'm beginning to like this country already, and I'm sure there is a good future for our country because there are still people like what we've seen today among us:

People who chose to fight for our country, people who chose to stand up for what's right, people who want what's best for our country... I thank God for the people who still see potential in our country and are still fighting to save it everyday, regardless of what happens....
I guess these are the true patriots of our country???

Malaysia.... how would our tomorrow turn out??? I have no idea, but I think just as long as we are united together in this 1Malaysia spirit, we can overcome any obstacle together... would our tomorrow be bright or dark?? I don't know but I still believe in the people who continue to fight for our country...

and who knows...?? The rainbow always comes after the storm~~ =)

May 21............. Akward.....

I guess most of everyone is familiar with this date???

as this date made most people around the world panic... it's rather an odd thing...
I guess this picture too isn't a stranger to most of those who were in California and being in panic because of a rumor going around the world announcing that the world will end in May 21st 2011, and on that day the rapture would happen, and then on October.... well.....
The rest who weren't raptured would be destroyed by war and a huge comet plunging into earth -_-""

Then some comes asking a question that who in the wide world would come up with such nonsense????
it would be by this old man called Harold Camping... which runs a radio station and so forth... and he then made a fabulous discovery by the methods of modern science to prove that he found out the day of rapture from the Bible..... well judging from the picture of how he scrapped out the world "Holy" from Holy Bible is already something to think about XD

well a simple answer would be that even in the Bible Jesus said that no person, no man, no one even knows the day of Judgment, only the Father alone... but then here comes an old man telling us that he knows, and people just blindly follows him??? I guess some of us haven't been reading our Bibles...

Of course this isn't the first epic fail from this guy... he did one before, I think was in the year 1992??? But he said he wasn't confirmed then so there's room for failure... so... well can't blame him? But now he said his confirm 100% without a shadow of doubt, and that's a rather strong word to use with a lot of balls to back up ~~~

Well if it's just the theory of one man I couldn't really care less... but if you've watched the videos of how some people were REALLY convinced that they just gave up their jobs, sold off all their properties and stuff and just stood there with their Bibles opened facing to the sky waiting for rapture........ it's really sad... so what happens to them now that they've lost everything???

when they went to his office on the 21st May, it was all closed and this old man has gone into hiding.... of course then came the saying that the reason why the rapture didn't happen was because of what happened in the book of Jonah when the city of Nineveh repented and God didn't destroy them because of their repentance, and the same thing caused God to hold back because of the repentance of his people.... oh wow..... -_-"
Awkward........

then again.... some might say that those people deserved it for believing in a fake fella spreading lies and rumors.... but then again if you've seen the faces of those who were desperate at that moment, the tears that fell from their eyes of the grief that some of their loved ones haven't known Christ and that they are running out of time... I sure don't see any selfishness there that when these people saw the even greater need to save one another and getting each other to know Christ before it's too late...

and also for those who sold off all their possessions??? Well some might call them dumb too... but if you were to view it from another angle... I think they too knew that well fact that in the end of one's life, it's not the house, it's not your job or you're possessions that you can bring, it's just your soul in the end... kinda reminds us of the days of Acts huh?? When the believers sold off all their possessions and gave it all to the church, so it would be just themselves, and God alone...

Other than judging them.... well I guess there's still a few thing or two we can learn from them as Christians... don't take you're life for granted, the rapture can happen any moment, and at the moment you're least expected... if there's anyone to blame it would be that old man... we should hunt him down!!

Ahh well.... in the future many would come saying stuff like this... but as a personal person, always relate to the Bible, and find the truth there yourself before believing in the worlds of a common man~~~

Of course I could imagine the embarrassment the Christians are getting as some people are having a party on the 22nd May just to make fun of us... ahh... I don't know but even though this has nothing to do to be as a person, but as a Christian I would want to apologize to those who were cheated and mislead by such lies that came from those who called themselves "Christians".. well... there's always some good, and there's always some bad I guess...... but in the end we still come to ask ourselves one question...

I guess the major big difference of pictures and videos would just be the file size, and if you were to compare the speed a picture would surely load faster than a video any given day... of course... unless we were overseas then it might be a whole new thing =)

It's A Rainy Day

There's always a rainy day some day

of course the term rainy day cause also mean a bad day.... and yes today was a bad day for me...

I'm usually the person who couldn't really care less about the things that happen in life, it'll just effect me, then I'll brush it off and continue on with my life and not thinking about it... why so??

Well this was unexpected though... since one of the office staff came to me after chapel service and her first news was to tell me that

"you failed your Greek class"

and at that moment I just literally went stun for a moment... I could've passed out I think if I wanted to.... but really for the short time during lunch I was just stunned and blanked out, and then decided to just finish up my food and go back to my room ASAP...

then I just sat down and didn't know what to do, now what's next?? with so much thoughts coming into my head... I then decided to just go out and catch a movie, since movies help me not to think and I really need to get out before I begin to shed a tear...

But my head kept on making plans what to do, where to go, etc... and while walking to the car... well news spreads fast and a number of friends then came to me asking if I was okay or not "ah crap" and they then planned then to just go out on a movie with me later to help me calm down later... wasn't my idea when I wanted to be alone... but sometimes people can be very persuasive and peer pressure can be a very powerful thing .....

So.... yeah I had time, so I decided to go home to the person that understands me best, and my best friend to help me forget everything and release stress...

no it's not my mom nor is it beer...

I didn't really make any progress in the story today, bur rather I just went around town showing off my power and bashing the day lights out of stupid people who are daring enough to challenge me... and man.... after knocking the day lights out of a few hundred people, it'll take the stress away instantly, better than really getting into a fight where there's sort of like a 50% chance that you might actually win... -_-"

then when it was around 4:30pm I just left the house and went back to college, because knowing that my parents would be back soon, and it'll be kinda hard to break the news to them... so best to run off, of course it won't be long till they read this post and give me a call -_-"

well... after that, and then went for movie with friends... man.... there's no nice movies... and those that I wanted to watch, then well they have watched it already.... so... what movie did we watch???
A Chinese Fairy Tale.... of course in the Malaysian version they write it as "Chinese Ghost Story" so it somehow felt scary...???? But when the movie started...
ah crap it turned out to be some odd love story -_-"

wasn't the best of the best movies... but then again the CG graphics of the HK movies now is really getting good!!! Very impressive d.....

and well.... when we came back and when I went back into my room, I found this on the table...
Mmm... Korean strawberries from KK.... at first I thought it was an initial from my lecturer but then it was one of the girls in college... mmm...

first time getting a gift from girls out of valentines day~~ =)

then again...... ahh yes I still am a little concerned about what would happen next, would I end up staying back another year? Would I end up re-doing it? All the thoughts going through my mind now... but then again... ahhhhhhhhhh.... no point getting all emo and lame, best to just look on the positive side of life... at least my PS3 still hasn't exploded yet~~ XD

either way.... I don't wanna think so much, gonna sit down and watch up my Stand Up Comedy collection and enjoy some strawberries, gonna eat and enjoy till I get an asthma attack!!!

Ahhhh...... either way keep me in prayers la as I go to ask about it, who knows??? It could be a prank my lecturer made up.... but till then... be positive and enjoy~~ =)

A Sad Truth

I think that's a sad truth in the online world? =)

which I think it might also be a sad thing for most guys who wanna be famous online... hoho...

I think young people now are trying too hard to get the attention and to wanna be famous??? Not a stated fact but just from a personal observation viewpoint... sure we moved on from the time of Friendster to Facebook now, and I have to admit it's a darn powerful tool for socializing, I've even got my primary school friends from Standard 5 and 6 finding me and adding me on facebook too you know?? And that was the period in life even before the handphone and internet existed (or maybe it did but our country was too back-dated to even know)

and for as long as mankind can remember, there is always a war or which sex is better (not the act but the gender) and always the war between both sides:
guy vs girl, male vs female, man vs woman, sticks and stones, and all the other weird names they gave for the genders in which I shall not write about it here -_-"

(wonder why they have so much names though... I would be happy with just male and female)

but yeah in historical days women didn't really have all the power and authority as men did then, but rather I think it was a moment of oppression where the men had all the power, went to work, earn for the family, etc.. and the woman, well another way of saying it would be for her to "stay in the kitchen"

but there came in time in history where some girls came together in one kitchen and declared "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!" (but you should know I'm talking nonsense but it COULD be true) and then declared that they too should be treated equally, have equal rights as a man, and so on and so forth... then some worked hard, and most of them even came out better than some men now...
ever remember this movie??? Then it was a moment where alot of these kind of movies started coming out showing how girls would totally own guys...

in a way can't blame them though... I mean, some of the men now aren't really that useful anymore as we did remember some of them... haha this reminds me of an old comic I read =p
but honestly now I'm thinking how did I get to this subject XD

THEN AGAIN.... coming back to the online battle, yeah well guys and girls are still kinda fighting over it, but now it's getting traffic to their own profile, or blog, etc.... some even starting their own fanpage in facebook, and trying hard to get a job offer in modeling or a career that could get alot of attention.... but sad to say, I think the girls are doing better in that area XD

I mean, if you were to compare the blog of a typical guy and girl, as long as the girl is pretty, and just takes pictures of herself lying on the bed, and if the guy does the same.... well the girl would surely win, eve if they didn't do anything the girls would still win in an online battle for votes and stuff~~ =p

Haha... I'm suddenly at lost for thought... too much distractions here now~~ then again... guys, if you wondered why after a week or months without going online, and checking back your facebook to realize just one notification... well it's not because no one loves you and you're not famous... it's just because you're a guy XD

Hey... some of us win in real life, but in the net we'll still lose from a mile XD

Holidays Are Ending

NOOOOOOOOO.......

two weeks felt too short... then again, it would also feel the same if it was two years.... just slightly longer than usual~~

I don't feel like going back... I don't feel like wanting to study.... urrrgh....
But it's not like I hate studying and wanna be stupid my whole life (that could be interesting though) but I do enjoy picking up a book to read (occasionally) and I feel that it's a good thing to learn more in life especially since there's so much things to learn and this is such a wonderful world with so much things to learn from....

But I guess I don't like the fact that I'm being graded by how smart I am and also given a due date to compile all my smartness into a few pages of paper... some might like it, but I think it's not my thing....

BUT of course you can't deny the fact of how important assignments and exams are to be a guide telling you if you are actually right, or wrong... so.... yeah there is a balance in everything in life, one can't do without the other... sigh...

Wish they had a course on gaming or animal planet though... then I think I could score better??

But just sad to depart from PS3 for the new term and we'll only be seeing each other in the weekends now... feels like an odd long-distance-relationship though... but you can really feel the heart-ache in some parts O.O

It's not that I can't bring it along with me to the dorm... just that it lacks the most important element, a tv... and yes we are not allowed to have a tv in the dorm... why?? Don't know... it could be that in the early days tv was considered to be of the devil...?? Don't know....
then again this little add on looks rather interesting and tempting to get though.... but then again.... you can only enjoy the games in a huge HD tv, watching all the graphics go wild and stuff.. and this little TV would cost around RM800+!!!! Siao....
oh well.... at least you're still by my side~~~ XD
time to start getting the nerd mode on.... oh gosh..... two more terms, just two more....

Week One of Holiday

the holiday's going great so far~~

honestly out of my 4years of studying in college and having a holiday, I have never had so much joy and pleasure enjoying myself so much in the holidays, of course I didn't go out much... just a little going of here and there, but just a little brief summary of how it went...
been going Cheras quite a lot lately.... and man being caught in the jam is really a frustrating feel.... honestly I am starting to hate jams and I wouldn't mind going there a few hours earlier just to beat the jam and relief myself of the stress...
then going to sunway and finding out they have like some shoe exhibition... oh wow.... with just a one huge shoe alone with less than 10 shoes to look at, and there we have a shoe exhibition -_-"
then finding the awesomeness of people now parking their car in a way to block up the whole road and doing a photoshoot session in the middle of the road... I mean come on la..... blocking up the whole road???? -_-"

I think photoshoots are getting a little out of hand lately.....
oh~~ it was my first time ever in my life trying out Tako Tao.... yes I know it might seem weird in some ways ... but it wasn't an "oh wow" experience for me... didn't taste that nice...

maybe we can only blame the cook for this reason.... then again... always room for more improvement =)
then comes the important part of abusing the body, soul and mind in front of the TV, destroying the bad guys countless times and saving the world so that mankind can sleep again in peace knowing that they'll wake up to a better day is very rewarding =)

especially when you've spent hours of gameplay, and then coming to a conclusion of getting that darn Platinum trophy... man that feels good, especially when you upload that trophy online for the world to see =)
got my first platinum trophy for Resident Evil 5... wasn't THAT hard though... easier than I though... besides, this game felt easier compared to Resident Evil 4 that made life frustrating... either way, next it's on to Yakuza XD

Speaking about Resident Evil.... I got the game Vanquish from Platinum games, directed by Shinji Mikami which is also the creator of those epic games like Resident Evil, etc.... man this games is a masterpiece~ almost fainted in joy when playing it~~~ =)
then again... speaking of PS3... have you heard of the PS3 game player??? Found this online though....

I Think It's Too Hot....

I think the weather is getting a little too hot don't you think????

as much as I would to complain... it will be, it's hot... hot.... hot ahhhh... hot....

I know at this same time last year it was this hot too, it's really unbearable... but for those who are at home then I can say you are lucky because you can turn your aircon on, but for me staying in the hostel... with only a little fan to survive... man it's a nightmare, especially at night when it's so dry and warm, even siting down on the chair can make my butt sweaty!!! Had no choice but to sleep on the floor instead....

But thinking back....
I guess this weather isn't as bad as when I was at Hangzhou last year.... at that time the weather was like x3 more times hotter than it is now... even walking there I was tempted to go naked because of the heat.... oh gosh was it hot...
even at night 8pm+ when we were doing a bike ride around the park, at night mind you.... and on a bike where the wind is supposed to be blowing... yet I came back in a pool of sweat on my face...

then again.... it's been raining these two days, really thank God that now the weather is a little more cooling then previously... and I guess I'll be able to sleep at night~

Last Class of the Term

Just had my last class of the term today........

and somehow I am not feeling all so excited, yes though I am looking forward to the holidays, but biggest fear now would be the following Wednesday where I have my final exam... and that isn't getting me excited, why???

Cause it's my Greek Language Exam...

If I fail this, then I won't be able to graduate this year and have to stay in for another year, and I think that would surely drive me crazy nonetheless... quite a scary thought if you were to think about it... maybe cause all along I felt like I'm an average student that doesn't fail, neither do I get an A too... but suddenly failing a course gives me a big smack on the head...

But I guess it's a good lesson to force me to work hard for this exam... I mean... I gotta give it my all, and though I still stare at the Greek exercises and feel all so blur, but somehow it's still a battle going inside me

Will I pass Will I fail??

don't know.... either way is to study hard and do my best la, if I pass, praise the Lord and stuff, if I fail, I guess my best wasn't enough o.o

then again I've still got till next Wednesday to make something of myself ~~ urrrrgh........ I'm gonna do my best, get it over with, and abuse my coming two week holiday till it can almost kill me!!!!

First thing, gonna abuse the PS3, and play so much I'll have panda eyes that gets so big it turns my face black!!! But then again.... I've already completed quite a number of games already and it looks like I'm running out of games soon... now I'm just working hard to get a 100% completion, and to get all the trophies in the game to acquire that Platinum trophy to show off....

did you know that people online can see your trophies??? =)

Although it doesn't help much in life to make you a better person, and it's a complete waste of productive time, but I guess that feeling gives you wonderful bragging rights of the moment?? But we'll forget about it a few years later o.o

then again.... 2011 is a crazy year.... with so much new games released... oh gosh....

they have alot of RPG titles by NIS though.... this is one of them that looks nice~~ even though I have no idea what it's all about~ XD
Along with Vanquish, though it's a 2010 game, but I haven't played it yet!!!
Marvel vs Capcom 3.... darn.... but if I were to get it now it'll be a lonely game because I currently still have only one controller at the moment... hohohoho XD
But then again still waiting for my Marvel vs Capcom 2 to arrive~ just waiting... waiting
I know I'm not a fan of racing games, to me they are boring... but I only play Need for Speed titles... why??? I have no idea... maybe cause of these versions that you can play both the role of a cop and an illegal street racing that makes it interesting???? And all the fakeness of running into a street pole and watching it snap off like a twig, and outrunning cops and stuff... gives you that odd kinda adrenaline XD

then comes Disgaea 3.... you know it looks really awesome in HD??????? But I haven't even completed 1 and 2 on my PSP yet.... oh gosh -_-
Not to mention 4 is just released recently but still in Japanese.... but the characters are so interesting...
like the half-transformed Prinny... but honestly it's just like cosplaying XD
sigh... then come the most awesome game... Yakuza 4.... it was just released recently, and I just finished my Yakuza 3... wanna get this.... but.... it's around RM150... can you believe it?!??? 150!!!

Not to mention the other games too are above the RM100 line.... crap wei......

If you ever see me in poverty you can understand where the money went -_-"

We're paying on the hundreds and in US the people are just paying like US60 max and they are complaining it's too expensive........ oi......

sigh... so much games, so little time....

then again i think I have went off topic majorly -_-"

Internet Speed

Gimme a fast internet, and I'll show you what I can do in an hour

Malaysian internet speed... one of the main reasons why we are still considered a third world country is when you log onto the internet.. of course if you're lucky, you could see an internet download speed of maybe 20-60KB a second, and when it goes to 100KB plus it feels like a miracle!! But then it rapidly drops back to sometimes below 10KB per second..
sometimes it feels like you can die waiting for that similar program to finish download.... I know I downloaded a 7GB file and today it's only done... yeah I started it last month -_-"

Kinda frustrating you know?? that we are so behind times that even 20KB a second can make me happy, while other people are enjoying a few hundred KB per second downloading speed in the overseas... where they could download a whole movie in less than 10mins while we have to take a few days to achieve that...
Sure Saudi is enjoying a slightly faster internet speed than us... roughly now I'm only beginning to see a little improvement in the 4MB/S speed, and we just only released it not too long ago which is rather sad...
and where those other people in the overseas is enjoying like 10 times the speed... TEN TIMES!!! UWARRRGH!!!!!
sure... we've just released a new thing called unifi... and alot of news is going around that they have a rather gay internet speed of a few hundred KB per second...

but of course the price is rather gay too.... and the cheapest package would limit to around 60GB a month... 60?? With such an internet speed I'll finish it within a week -.-"

then again we didn't get it for our house yet... cause I think the two year contract is rather suspicious to my father, since this is Malaysia too, not surprising if they suddenly shoot down the internet speed and you're stuck for two years... sigh la wei -_-

but ever since unifi was up, we who are using the normal ones are experiencing a really, really slow connection speed, so slow I even had to think twice before downloading a 20MB file because that might take a long time with an internet speed that can go up to 500bytes a second... yes, bytes!! not even a single kilo yet!!!!
either way my cousin got it, and I tried it today.... oh gosh this really is gay... 500KB per second was like a red sea parting before my very eyes... and yes I could get this 177MB file downloaded within a few minutes, where else it would take a whole night to do it in my house -_-"

what file is it??? Update for my PS3 lo, not sure why they keep on updating the firmware though, and downloading it with my PS3 just doesn't do justice -_-"

either way I abused it to the best of my hour when I was there, got to download lots of stuff~~ quite an achievement =)

then now I'm now back home to a normal internet speed... sigh, not so fast but... can't complain, just gotta be happy that I can at least go online rather than searching the whole place for a signal =p

recently there has been a video going around Facebook, it had a title that sort of said that why Japan deserved to die, and other titles saying that the sea nature strikes back in revenge to Japan, etc....

of course as angry as I was, I had to get my facts right before making any further comments... so as much as I hated it, I sat down and watched that whole video... and yes, I can agree it shows one of the cruelty of Japanese people when they killed the dolphins like that, but that whole video was a video telling people to rise up against all these cruelty against sea creatures... not a video saying that this is why Japan deserved to be hit by a tsunami...

and people were commenting and agreeing on how true that video is, people commenting all over saying that they deserve to die because of what they did to the dolphins, that because in history when they killed countless people, they all deserve to die a slow and cruel death, and because they abused nature that's why nature stuck them back and killed them all... and all the comments bearing so much hate in it...

but I think the worse comment I've read was said that "they deserved it!!"

.........did they??

was it because of a minority of people who killed dolphins...
that Japan was hit with a 8.9 magnitude earthquake followed by a tsunami
that the things that people worked hard for were all destroyed in a blink of an eye....

and it's not just the houses, it's not just the buildings, it's not just the cars and the technologies that were lost... so were the lives...
the lives that belonged to people who loved them...
the lives that people are still endlessly searching for...
the lives that people would cry for when they find out the painful truth that they could not be found....
did they deserve it??

There were far more worse pictures you can find about the earthquake, some so bad I couldn't even look at it again... but I really salute those people who have the guts to point their camera at a person in such sorrow, and yet take a picture... I really do... I can't even imagine taking a picture like that ever, but then again... we really do need people like this, with pictures like these to really open our blind eyes to really see what's going oyou know.... I feel my body shaking as I'm writing this, I can say I would've even broken out in tears already if I wasn't trying to hold it back... but what has our world become?? In the midst of people's brokenness, in the midst of the pain and sorry, in their moment of losing someone they love, and yet we have people going around saying that "they deserved it"

I mean.... is that even right to say?? Or have we begun to lose our humanity already?? Have we begun to lose what is that feeling of sorrow, compassion, shame, or even love??

Sure there's no doubt that in this world there are bad people, really, really bad people... some whom even I agree that they deserved to be dead, but how about the innocent? How about those who had nothing to do with any of these?? How about a guy who was living an honest life all along and at a split second his family was taken away from him?? Did they deserve it??

We all have to pay for the consequences of our sins someday, but as much as you and me, and everyone on this planet earth.... we all deserve the right to live, the right to be alive, as much as you need air to breathe, the guy beside you deserves the same right to breathe and stay alive...

hmmmmmmm.......

this goes beyond just animal cruelty, this goes beyond killing dolphins... if you consider that a reason for all Japan to die... we deserve every single bit of it too... how about our country too??
where we have corrupted people, snatch thief, killing, bribery, you name it... if you ask me it's almost the same, don't we deserved to be invaded and killed by people of other countries too?? Don't we deserve an equal punishment as the others??

I'm not laying a curse on anyone here.... but I just want to say that the same right we deserve to live, the same right belongs to everyone else, as much as we deserve kindness and compassion, so do they... this isn't a time to hate, but a time to love...

so before we make a comment online, I think we've gotta think about what we are going to say again and again before clicking on the "comment" button... I know I've learned it the hard way, and neither of us should be called a fool for making some bad comment like that every again...

I guess it's the least we can do at a moment like this.....

I think it was a sudden shock for most people, even for me when I heard on the news and all over facebook saying that Japan had an earthquake which was a magnitude of 8.9, then followed by a lot of aftershocks and tsunami strikes...
honestly it's really serious, if you went around youtube looking at the videos, this is one really serious case, the highways splitted into two, fallen buildings, floods, broken houses and such.... it really is a shock that left me totally speechless not knowing what could I do???

But really, in a moment like this I just had to fall down and pray, to pray for Japan, to pray for the other people because honestly... what can we do to help???

Remember the earthquake in Haiti???
which was also massive, so much lives were lost, and homes destroyed...

and honestly if things like these doesn't spark a feeling of pity in your heart, and if it doesn't break your heart... I really wonder what actually goes into the minds and hearts of the people these days...

Today CNN just made Malaysia a little more popular by saying that:

seriously... Malaysian newspapers?? Have you gone insane to do a thing like this!??!?!

even after the earthquake struck Japan, then all around facebook came out very offensive comments going around like:

"Goodbye Japan, I'll miss sushi, at the mean time, it's time to sleep!"

"Japan must've done something to deserve this"

and other stuff like they deserve it because of the amount of people they killed in the war, it happened because they made the movie "sinking of Japan" etc...

have we begin to lose our humanity now...?? when at a split second lives out there are broken, when people's loved ones have died, houses are destroyed.... can you imagine if one day a disaster suddenly happened and everything you had is gone? Your home, your parents, your finance, your car, your computer and friends, and maybe even your favorite pet... honestly speaking it would be too much for me as a person to handle, and yet we have people laughing at them saying that they deserve it... if I had to say something about this I'd say that they that laugh at things like these deserve it even the more than them who are innocent..
I mean.... look at the dead people all over in this picture from Haiti... doesn't this give you even a little sense of pity for them?? I'd say that they all deserve even single bit of a right to live just as you and me...

But really.... sigh.... things like these can really shake up the world, and our own little hearts, it's a hard reality that gives us a tight slap in the face saying that life can just come and go in the split second at the snap of a finger, and our loved ones, at a moment you could be seeing them laughing, and at the next second you could be there watching them bury them six feet under...

I wish I could do something to help though, whether it's in the area of sending some money, heck... if I could even join a relief team to help them out I'd do it!! But what about us who can't help financially or going there?? I'd say... pray for Japan... because they need our prayers..

A nation that's also known as the graveyard for missionaries, is also one nation that needs God as much as you and me... really, pray for them, pray that God will give them the strength to make it through somehow, for guidance and peace, for them to be strong to stand up again, and maybe through this that they would also find God in all of these things... and for me, I think that's one of the best things we can do for them

sometimes we estimate the power of prayer, that it is just all talk and no action... but I'd say that as much as we need workers in the field, we all need a supporting role of prayer warriors to back them up, to know that there's someone remembering them in prayer and also helping behind the scenes...

so.... pray, because you might not know, right now, God might be answering your prayer and also answering a prayer of someone that's crying out over there now

my weekend spent at Mid Valley

it's a weekend, and at a moment like this its where I can come back home, away from college, work, studies and Greek especially, and have a moment just to stretch my body, relax, and spam the ps3 like no one's business...

usually I'd rather not go out on the weekends, even if come to a point of starvation, I'll just head towards the fridge for my survival kit... but either way this weekend I just felt like going out, not asking anyone out, no girl, never a guy, and just go out myself....

but was thinking.... wana go anot wana go anot...?? Till it was around 7:40pm+ then just aiya dress up and went to midvalley... and man was that a bad decision -_-"

well parking isn't a problem because I think one of my spiritual gifting is "parking" because whenever I go shopping I won't have a problem finding a parking, sort of like an empty lot near the entrance.... neato :)
then decided to check out the PC Expo in Mid valley, and man it was packed full... they made it in such a way that you have no choice but to walk through the whole thing before going to the exit, enter through the right and exit through the left... one big huge round

prices.... well it wasn't so much different I guess, wanted to check out some stalls but the people that came running to you passing out flyers and asking you if you wanna buy some stuff just pisses me off =.=

external hard disks were cheaper though... around RM159 for a 500GB one, but then again... just went to Digital Mall today and it was around RM149... they drop fast...
the thing that caught my eye was the guy playing DMC 4 in 3D on the computer though... they had 3 screens and he was playing with the 3D glasses on... but it's more of like a syok sendiri kinda feel where only he can see what's happening, and we can only see a dual image -_-"

but lousy la he play =p
the typical event photographers?? Yeap their here too...

coming in groups of 6 and more, and going to meet the girls and taking pictures of them, then showing them the pictures they took of them and asking for their details (number, email, etc) so they can mail the pictures to them......... honestly I think this is a cheap method to get a girl's detail, but then again when the girl does give it, what can I say???

not like it's illegal but it just makes me go "Haih...... oh well" what can we do??

but if they begun charging these people to take pictures of the girls... I think they could earn quite a lot huh?? =]

but yeah it won't be long till we'll see an album on Facebook titled PC Expo 2011 and we'll just see girls rather than any electronic product -_-"
Other than that....... went to buy a thumbdrive for myself.... Sandisk one, not bad, since I'm a San Disk lover, maybe cause of the Black n Red color... and the design is also interesting, Kingston... very the ugly... I know we shouldn't bother how the look it but rather how it works, but.... I guess it's ok to wanna look good once awhile???

Got it for RM67.... and the shop owner was telling me

When I was done.... went to MPH to buy myself a book, then went to Jusco to buy groceries... man they gave me a broken cart, half way the wheel acted like it was possessed and begun spinning in circles... but I cast the demon out half way so it wasn't half bad...

only problem that happened later was when I was going to pay for the groceries... man the lines can drive you mad... never knew an Indonesian maid had so much authority to snatch my place... then again her master also looked one kind so best don't offend her, after she'll bite me..

But it wasn't as bad as the Arab family that came with two carts full of stuff.... my Lord O.O

where does the money come from!!??! Which game me a shock when the price came up to rm700+ for their groceries... my gosh....

but yeah it took me 30mins lining up cause of them -_-"

by then it was already 9:15pm, which then would be the best time to go home already before the jam starts.... but when wanting to go pay for my parking... oh man........... the lines were LONG!!! but what can I do??? Line up lohhhh... the people lining up in front of me were pissing me off too though... why???

1. Guy told his GF to pay for him while he went to sit down somewhere else
2. Father arguing with his child on who would pay the ticket in front of the machine
3. Fat guy put in his ticket (which was torn) and it was rejected *Card Damaged* and he kept on trying to put it in again, and again, and again, and again... I almost strangled him... and suddenly it worked, and he paid... and after the ticket came out and everything was done, he kept on pressing the "RECEIPT" button and nothing came out (brother, it's over d la)

But I guess nothing could beat the indian father that was lining up behind me, he told his wife to go get the car and wait for him (good thinking) but then begun to burp and

"OH GOSH!!!"

durian smell flew across the whole place, was worse since I had first hand sniffing when standing in front of him... then saw him eating more of those durian cakes.... ahh screw it -_-"

then when coming out, man the carpark was full of cars heading towards the exit.... =(

the whole time a few words were just flying by my mind...

"GET OUT OF THE LINE!!!"

man what a day.... but well I did go Mid Valley again the following day, went to help dad buy Kaspersky from the PC Expo, and that was a smooth day =)

The Power of Green Tea

I guess we didn't know the true power of Green Tea

I've been drinking Green Tea every day, about minimum 2 cups a day... except on weekends, and I've thought of Green Tea to be of something healthy and good to the body... which is good though, but yesterday I've got an interesting experience with the green tea~~
I've been using this little lens cup for 3 months... nothing bad about it, it's just a cup you know?? but the only problem is that they've made this cup to be able to fit into the camera, so you can unscrew the bottom part... but at the bottom part is just a little screw which can never ever hold the cup up....

well when I drank my share of green tea, and put the cup back on the table... somehow the bottom lid became loose, and it fell out, and I didn't notice I was putting the cup on the table balancing on the little screw ~~ so... yeah physics could tell you that it wouldn't hold so the cup just fell....

and there goes the green tea....

well thank goodness it missed my laptop, it missed my mouse and my mouse pad, it PURPOSELY missed my Greek textbook, and it drowned my phone -_-"

well for a normal reaction, it would be to turn off the phone, and take out all the parts of the phone and let it dry for hours, so I did it~~ and after hours later when I put the parts back, turned it on....
*BZZZZZ!!*

and I thought you could only see such a screen on a TV... such an eye-opening experience~~ whew...
then I checked the battery... oh wow, it suddenly has cracks on it... O.O

this green tea stuff is crazy.... well I tried turning it on again today, and it didn't even turn on at all... hm.... guess it's finally dead.. o.o
then again... this phone of mine is already QUITE old and broken up, the main buttons have dropped off, some button's can't really work well... when you give me a call I can hear you but you can't hear me... interesting phone though, faithful too~~
this wasn't caused by the Green Tea, but.... erm... yeah...

just got a new Macro Lens, and this is the best time to give it a try =)

then again.... thank goodness I still have another spare phone so it's not all that bad... haha, time for a new phone??? Nahhhhh....... =)

Stand Up Comedy

I think stand up comedy is just so awesome =)

Stand Up Comedy, not about standing up and telling a joke, but rather it's kind of like a more advanced version of telling jokes, about how some comedians talk about their lives, some exaggerating stories, some dramatic stories, or their thoughts or complains and so forth, and making everyday things into something funny...

I think that's an art =)

Recently I've been going around the internet downloading lots of new stand up comedians DVD and checking out if I could find some things to learn from them.... so far I guess people now are into Russel Peters, but you can't expect the guy to come out with a new show every month...

plus it's also good to check out and see if they are any better comedians... and yes there are!!! =)

of course there are a LOT of them, some are actually really vulgar, having a lot of vulgar language and vulgar jokes, not to say it's not funny.... but you really didn't have to swear you know??

but they are a couple of good ones~
First is the old but still well known Bill Cosby, this was how young he was when he was doing stand up comedy, his jokes are really clean and funny, talking about his life and family... gives you a clean laughter, and I now have a stomach ache because I've just watched it.... *ouch* XD
Then comes my favorite of all John Pinette, this guy is seriously good!! He was named Stand-Up Comedian of the Year by the American Comedy Awards in 1999 and has received a Gemini Award nomination for his superb televised performance at The Montreal Comedy Festival in 2000. and it's not surprising because this guy talks about his life, about diet, being healthy and making fun of himself and his weight... man I've got a big laugh out of his jokes~~ but what I like most is how natural he speaks, it just seems to real and he is just so natural and transparent in his jokes.... love it =)

I recommend showing his videos to your friends XD

ahh... these people are awesome, but I know there's still better people out there, gotta keep on looking!!!

February 28.... and tomorrow would be the first of March, now time somehow doesn't seem to be flying quicker these days, man it even seems like it's beginning to go slower.... honestly speaking...

even when I'm playing games now that seemed like a long time, then when looked at the clock... ah only 30mins?? Mmmm.... in a way I guess it's good I think??

People have been asking me lately... "How's Life??"
sort of like that I guess.... Greek is still stressful, though I've kinda gotten the hang of it, but it really takes up alot of study time to do it, it can even go more than 4 hours to finish a chapter or two, and we're going at such a fast pace.... man it's hard...

but either way.... just gotta do your best la, as in really... this year's gonna be taking a lot out of me, can't be too relaxed already these days, and gotta put an extra effort already in the things that doesn't seem so important at first... in a way it's a good thing too I think??
especially in the area of teaching, where I've gotta re-think over my methods of doing it, gotta improve to get better and better... but how is another big word...
But yeah life looks like it's taking a whole new look in life from a different angle, to see things differently and work differently...
but honestly... I can't wait till this term is over, and I just can't wait till I graduate, not to say that I'll then have a lot of time on my hands, but rather just wanting to get out of the daily routine and step into that something new kinda feeling .... but yeah.... one more year.... hope you come fast O.o

then again... I am not even sure what in the wide world am I blogging about now, neither do I really realize what I am writing about, I guess it's hard to stay focused at one thing when your watching Stand up Comedy, listening to music, net surfing and blogging at the same time....

oh well... I need the finger exercise =)

Gaming Stress

I guess I've gotta start playing my games in secret already.... its beginning to be too stressful to play it when my parents are around... with all the pressure boiling up... hearing voices in the background most of the time saying:

"so violent"

then today it was more of questioning me of the games that I play, and if those would give a good testimony to me -.-

not to say that I don't agree with them, but it's kinda rare to find a game now that doesn't shoot blood... or has a little form of violence...
even Spiderman games now have punching and kicking sequences....
not to mention even Lego, yes LEGO batman has a rating of PG with Mild Violence there O.o

of course unless they are forcing me to buy a Hello Kitty game that would literally destroy the whole purpose of getting a PS3... then again... I don't know....

I guess I'll stick to playing games at midnights.... urrgh.... safer I guess... saves me from the pressuring stress...

I kinda.... miss taking pictures...

And I'm really being honest here... I really am starting to miss taking pictures already, and yes I still am taking pictures, but not for myself, rather it being a duty now, everyday taking pictures of the chapel speakers, maybe taking a couple of pictures for friends, and other requests... etc....

or so to say its now more of a moment where I'm taking pictures when people call me over, most with the motive to take pictures...

of course you can't say it's a bad thing, when people recognize you it's also a good thing, especially when they say that they would trust your skill when somehow deep down you feel like you still suck... but then again... I miss taking pictures la~~
I no longer have been spending time by myself, or wasting hours preparing and cleaning up room to take a certain picture to make it look nice, or rather sit down looking at the picture and wondering how could I edit it to make it look better... now it's just something to get over.... I guess you could say I'm kinda sien with it in some ways already now...

And yeah I know I have been really busy this term, with the Greek language and all especially, but I guess I have mellowed down alot too, haven't been doing a photo shoot for friends for a very very long time, I did one recently though but I'm really disappointed at myself, especially when looking at other people's pictures and seeing how much of them are now better than me... etc etc...

I don't know...
I guess my last hit picture was this one though... which was very long long long ago last year... haven't been taking anything decent recently I guess, other than the wedding last month~~
but somehow people were rather impressed with the before and after image, getting a lot of requests wondering how I did it, some even asking for a tutorial... but honestly if I told them the truth they might just flip and go like:

"Harrr?? Like that only ahhh??"

kinda embarrassing though ~~~~ but I guess it's also a good thing to have this kinda missing feeling and a longing to take pictures, hmmm.... but I'm out of ideas on where I can go to take pictures, there's just not much nice places to go already in KL, and those nice places, those cocky photographers won't tell you...

Then again... I kinda thank God though, today I decided to visit back Flickr after months of not stepping into there, and looked at some of the comments I got for my pictures, and the favorites and stuff... I guess I got a little motivated already in some ways..

now I'm motivated to wanna try to photograph an ang mo girl XD

then again.... now I'm kinda motivated to wanna try a new photoshoot, something I've never done before, taking a risk into something new and to try to be a little more confident....

Dead Space 2

Never been so stressed up in a long time... -_-"

you know there's just this something about games that are actually horror, and games that are just stressful?? Well Dead Space 2 is definitely one of those stressful games to play...
it's one of those games that when you were to look at it on the counter it would be one of those eye catching thingy, I guess especially since it's one of those futuristic kinda things too with all the cool gadgets and suits or some sort...

but of course la it's known to be a survival horror kinda game that's why I had to think over it a few hundred times, and made a conclusion that it's not worth scaring the crap out of myself... it's not worth it man -_-"

Either way, today friend told me that his sister bought this game for him... so I decided to give him a visit along with other 2 guys, just to see how the game is like, and yes I still will not buy it~~

starting was okay... I mean, of course the starting can't be crapping scary la right???
then when the first boss appeared it was like "oh crap"

but it's not really that scary, because somehow space monsters all have that similar kind of look don't you notice??? Even in Space movies also the monsters are kinda similar too, with all the goo and stuff, Aliens especially... not too sure why but maybe the most advanced technology is within the goo?

But either way it's not really scary for me for the monster part.... maybe cause I was siting too far from the screen and it's 2pm in the bright afternoon with other 3 guys with me... BUT... it just didn't seem all that scary...
But then comes the stressful part because the ship's power is all out and there's sort of like total darkness, and the only thing you have to rely on is the little light source from your gun... oh great...

what's worse is when you look into the distance and you see a container yard that's set up like a maze and you go.... aw crap.... or "can I not go?"

somehow this game reminds me of Silent Hill, it's not really all that scary, but what freaks you out is the environment, how the whole place is made in a way where you can't see anything clearly, and how the music goes that freaks you out... like in a nursery room, where you suddenly see blood all over the walls, and baby cradles, then you hear those little lullaby music and baby crying and you go "............"

but it's entertaining though, seeing your friends screaming and shouting, some even going close to wanting to throw the controller at the screen~~ for me... whenever I come to a section where the environment is open or in a tight spot... I just wanna put down the controller and go

"you know what? screw this....."

but overall... an interesting experience~~ just too stressful~~~
but made up my mind la, I'm gonna get Vanquish instead.... since the suit looks cooler...
you can slide dash across the places faster...
you can just shoot and destroy whatever you see...
and best.... well yeah it's not dark~~ =)

maybe cause the insides are filled with those little dono what you call it kinda things that's why??? Either way it gives a good protection to my goods....

ahhh yes.... two games, of course there are a little old titles... already been few years.... but the prices they were selling in Malaysia is too gay already...

take the game Yakuza 3, went around asking... some offered RM160, another offered Rm165, and when I went away the guy told me "Eh give you discount la RM160" stupid la like RM5 off is going to change my whole life -_-"

Then the Ninja Gaiden game, it released very long ago, and they are still selling the price for RM130.... a bit too much too for an old game...

either way, I went online to check, and the prices were...

Yakuza 3 - RM91
Ninja Gaiden - RM60

Gay la!! buy la!!! XD

it was like literally half price off them, and paying rm151... if I bought the RM160 game I would've gotten two games for that price -_-" of course at that time there were also having a promotion so the prices dropped a lot, so just buy first and think later... and it's also good because whenever you buy something from them they would give you a voucher for US5 off your next purchase, which takes off around RM15-18 or something like that... better than nothing I guess??
some might wonder why the Ninja Gaiden's box is red color.... well I wonder too, but they have the words written there "Greatest Hits" so... erm......... don't know but sounds like some kinda MTV cover or something, then again.... I guess the only difference is that the book is colored??

Then again... Yakuza is awesome~~
it's like a Japanese GTA, while the city feels all so Japan-like
you could even enter shops and purchase some of those famous japanese products, and food and drinks, even vending machines.. then with people waking all around the city, hearing conversations and stuff is also awesome...

you can even play many minigames like panchiko, bowling, golf, really got a lot more other....
not to mention going to those places and taking those hostess out on a date... *COUGH!!* XD
but of course the best is being the Yakuza boss and bashing people up with the display of your manliness and power, the main character is somehow too strong so it's awesome XD

a game that makes you feel like world domination... awesome XD

then again, now I have too much games to complete d... arrrgh XD

kinda bored now...

it's 9:24am in the morning and I'm siting here thinking of what to do next... mmm..... was supposed to help friend do a shoot today but ended up didnt have any transport to go so didn't work out today, kinda sad though...
then again... was playing the facebook game Knight of the Crystals, seems to be a game from Square Enix so a little odd too in some ways, but I think there's a new glitch for the game, cause when I've mastered a certain class they told me that I've mastered the Low Tee Juan class... oh wow... that must be one of the most awesome class ever XD

oh yeah did I mention that I got slashed by a knife and survived too?? =p
well of course it's rather an embarrassing story, but you know how those plastic birthday cake knifes look like right?? this is the closest resembling picture that I could find..

either way it was one of the college guy's birthday and they got him a cake... then not sure why they put the knife into my hands.... and at that point I was suddenly curious so decided to ask my ex-gangster-boss friend a question... was wondering during gang fights, which is more effective??

or to just pierce forward??

so of course he told me the best method was to pierce forward into the opponent, then when the knife was inside, then SLASH it downwards.... of course it sounded weird but when he was showing me an example, and when the knife was slashing downwards it went

Hmmm so it's finally coming heh???

As much as a Spider Man fan I am... somehow when they said about coming out with the 4th episode of the Spiderman movie I felt a little weird... not to say I'm not excited, but because they are changing a whole total cast... and they are twisting the whole story, ad making it a whole new cast, a whole new story, and has nothing to do with the previous one...

I guess they are using the story now from The Amazing Spider man???

Either way, not sure if this is real or not but they have released the look of the upcoming costume~~
well somehow it's not ugly, and all those little things that made the suit looks quite cool, but it just doesn't feel all that original as it was?~??
Then if you took a closer look, you'd notice he now has those web shooter devices as in the comics, and it's no longer built in =p

then again still not so excited, but when the said the main character was Andrew Garfield... erm... don't know how he looks like so have to google him... and let's see....

A few days ago I was at a computer shop, and I saw they were showing a promotion for a new kind of mouse... so I read the signboard... and they were talking about the functions and features of this new mouse.... okay... let's see~~~~

Battery status indicator (sounds practical)
2.4G wireless technology (whatever that is)
USB connection (good when the battery dies)
Compatible with Windows 2000, XP, MCE2005, XP (x64), 2003 (X64) and Vista (it's needed)

and everything else sounded normal till I read one odd function....

15m wireless range..

erm.... what in the wide world??? why in the world would I need 15meters of wireless range from a mouse?????? -_-"
I mean if I was to use a mouse I'd just love it to be side by side with my keyboard, where my hands can reach both of them on the same time...
and not having to use the mouse from such a long range... I mean seriously man... even 1 meter sounds a little too off... imagine people telling their friends:

As the Chinese New Year comes to an end.... we sit back and wonder if that really is a rabbit or not...???

Now back in college, and reality gave me a B slap when I woke up today and went like

"Oh Lord there's classes today"

and when I sat through another session of Greek I thought I was gonna die when the lecturer said:

"Tee Juan, translate this verse"

Then again.... still feeling kinda lazy and still stuck in the holiday mood, I blame the CNY for breaking my hardworking study flow that I had two weeks ago... now when I open the book, it's an instant throw away thing... whew...

either way... more on the updates on my life which proved to be more interesting than studying...
had to open up all the angpao's earlier just to put them in the bank... doesn't feel safe when I'm in the hostel and all these are left in my room...

I remembered in the previous year I left it in my cupboard till around august or september only before opening it.... not that much of a syok thing I guess???

can't miss the PSP that much since it's always by my side, but the PS3 is because it's stationed in my house and I'm stuck here in the dorm... ah man..... *jumps around*

Started playing this game since they said it was interesting.... erm.... not bad la, storyline is something like Indiana Jones, very straightforward kind of gameplay... everything was okay till they had monsters come out then I was like "what in the wide world????" -_-"

Either way... gonna get part 2 someday la since it got a game of the year award~~
Also playing Assassin's Creed, nothing special, just that it's interesting by the fact that you can go around and kill those corrupted officials and politicians and stuff to make the world a better place =)

Wonder if we could still do it today~??? =p
Now currently playing Batman..... and honestly this game made me go "Wow"

I mean honestly, this is a total different spin off from all the lousy superhero games that you've ever played and that has sucked before... if you like the Batman Dark Knight movie, because it was very psychological of how it is the struggle between the life of a man and Batman, along with the mind of the criminal and stuff... this game is so much more like it~~

it made you think and go into the mind of the criminals, a whole psychological exploration, and along with a mixture of stealth and beating the crap out of the bad guys along with forensics & detective work like CSI finding a clue or a trail left behind by somebody... this game has it all and I'm really honestly impressed with it... no wonder why it got the game of the year award~~

even when I played a part where you have to enter one of the prisoners' lair, and man was that stressful, it honesty gave me a stressful moment like when playing Silent Hill... go get this game if you haven't played it yet =)

there's a new version though... 3D.... but would be useless for me I think...
Then that comes lastly to Metal Gear Solid Peace walker on my PSP.... just got a new soldier recruited..... odd name.... Gila Monster -_-"
But yeah la there really is such a creature... huge cicak... do kill it for me when you see it k??

either way.... the time is almost 1am.... guess it's time to lie on the bed and play games till I faint... hoho~~ nights everyone =)

Happy Chinese New Year Eve~~

Weee..... it's CNY eve today.... of course it isn't like Christmas where it's snowing and people are buying presents, but rather where it's hot like crap!!! and also where people are roughly cleaning up their houses... I too was forced to clean up my room, the way they asked me to clean up my room is like they're gonna be having a CNY celebration in my room instead of the living hall -_-"
But thank God our CNY celebration isn't as epic as those in China~~ =)

then again not everything is crappy, when you have to clean up your room you'll find much more weird things instead you know... some things that makes you run through memory lane~~~
found this rather odd and lame necklace I made when I was younger... not sure who I was planning to give this to, either it was for a friend or like a voodoo curse for an enemy... heh heh...
then some of the pictures and gifts from girls during my prime days, of course there were much more letters but one letter is enough to fit the picture~ but now at a digital internet age I guess we don't do these kinda things anymore huh?? But it's interesting though... heh heh....

had to censor the faces for future protection for them I think... XD
then this is really weird.... honestly I still wonder why did I even agree to accept a gift like this... not like it's beneficial unless it's in a car... takes up space, but rather.... I think it's a good weapon though~~
then found some of my magazines all over the place, then have to arrange in order... this is one of those magazines I've always read.... but somehow looking back at it, the title of this book sounds rather racist don't you think??? Not to mention the pictures inside aren't THAT nice.... racist book.... -_-"
Ahhh not to mention I found one of my oldest and most favorite artist of all time... DR BOMBAY!!! XD

But I think this is the only indian artist I ever listened to, loved it when I was a kid, not sure how I got this album though, but it still works!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

Ahhh yes, for the few past weeks I was using a wireless mouse, nothing bad about it, but it makes me fed up when the battery dries up..... sure you can make wireless technology but still want us to use battery to destroy the environment.... sigh...

So either way I decided to get myself a real mouse, a mouse with USB wire, not because I am anti wireless, I mean I love wireless, like my PS3 controller and....... other stuff.... but because USB wire doesn't require me to change AAA batteries and doesn't go off when the battery is low... I guess it just keeps my stress level down~~

SO I went to buy myself a new mouse...
of course I am not sure why I bought myself a gaming mouse... but since the usual mouse price range I get is around rm29.90... and this was just rm32.90... rm3 difference... oh well just give it a try =)

But when come back and opened it...
how come like not so nice d wan?? It looked nicer in the package though -_-"

Oh well.... marketing strategy... but I'm sure I'll get used to it soon =)
Oh yeah not to mention when I was buying my mouse I got myself this game too~~ Resonance of Fate... though it's not a Final Fantasy kinda RPG style... but still the gameplay is rather gay...
once I saw it then was like.... "oklah..... buy"

some gave good reviews, some say bad... but since one fella said this game has the potential to challenge Final Fantasy... hmm try it out la =p

but haven't got the chance to try it out yet.... maybe midnight?? sigh... -_-"

How's The Holidays Going??/

how's everyone's holidays going??? =)

for some it might be a holiday, for some you're still stuck in the office or even in classes or some sort... but I've got a one week break because it's the week of Chinese New Year~but some how this year seems rather weird... because usually when CNY is near then there would be a moment where the weather would be hot like mad, but now it's rather... cold?? it's been raining for the whole day yesterday, and it rained a little today, and even now at night it's a little chilly....

I guess we can forget the new clothes this year and focus on buying jackets instead for the new year~~ who knows?? In years to come it might be snowing during CNY =)

BUT then again I've decide to make my holiday this time a little more erm.... what's that word... ahh forgot but it's something about making life more beneficial~~ but yeah decided to abuse the internet and learn up some stuff (other than greek)

So what have I learned then???
I've learned the origination of falling/shooting stars...
of how awesome it is to shoot multiple pictures into a single frame =)
especially why it's better to go for those gothic girls in high school (it's a good investment) XD

and many more but those are in video forms....
Oh yeah.... I've started to miss doing ventriloquism or however you spell it.... but this is rather a secret than roughly nobody knows -_-"

Begun practicing it during my first year of college, because of well... for an assignment, but then slowly forgot all about it till I watched a video yesterday again of my idol Jeff Dunham... ahh how I love his videos, but then again I know it'll be darn weird if I start picking it up again...

see how la, maybe can find a doll somewhere, someday, etc....
Then kinda abusing myself daily since it's a holiday... by playing a crazy number of hours on the PS3 (because I can only touch it on weekends, weekdays I'm in hostel) which is a good thing though... saved the world countless times, got a lot of trophies and secret items.... but then again I'm running out of games to play...

Guess it's time to buy new ones.... but it's also giving me rather unique dreams recently... which I guess it can top my dream of being Spiderman =)

Greek.... Y U SO HARD!??!?!?!

So Frustrating........

Just had my Greek Class earlier, and all I can say is that it is so ultra darn hard!!! I mean honestly.... for the first week of class I've managed to memorize all the alphabets and stuff, even could write and read (not so pro but still okay) so I thought to myself maybe got a hope and chance to pass...

But after today's class I've never felt so lost and stressed out.... but as lecturer would always tell me that a language is dead, and we are alive, a language doesn't change or evolve, but we can change and learn and master it....

But as I lift up the book all I can think of is "I'm gonna die... I'm gonna die..."

Urrrh.... Greek why so hard???

Either way, as the first picture showed, some might wonder why that character so ugly wan?? But it's one of those relating characters to the Forever Alone fella.... I think he's called the Y U NO fella or something... he only has one picture, which everytime describes his frustrations and stuff in a single word.... sort of like...

and so and so~~~ XD

I never had an interest in this character, but half way I've even decided to do one myself out of the frustrations of Greek...
I know it's kinda lame .... but I'm really frustrated right now.....

since I'm doing a bachelor program so I'm only required to take one term of it and not 3 terms like a master student but still.... it's really hard =(

It's not the language nor the alphabet, but rather the nouns and adjective and grammar stuff.... sigh so confusing =(

A Visit to Zoo Negara

One can think of many weird places to go visit on a holiday.... for me??? Well I chose to go to the zoo.... =p

it was a holiday on thursday, so me and friend decided to meet up, to go where??? Well one things' for sure is that the shopping complex is getting rather boring, and also expensive.... so thought of visiting one of those tourist attraction places because most of the time even we Malaysians don't visit those so called attractive places in KL~~

so yeah.... we went to the zoo negara... haven't been here for years though, I'd say it was more than 10 years since I've last been here~~ but recently I've met someone who worked here, and he told me about the history n his work, etc...so it got me quite interested to go visit some day.... and this is the day~~~

the crowd wasn't so crazy that day, neither did it feel packed, because one things' for sure... is that the zoo is really... huge....
monkeys everywhere =p
somehow I have wonders about this sign.... it could either mean that the food we give will make them sick, or the food their having everyday is bad enough to make them sick~~ XD
ugly siao... good thing I didn't evolve from this....
then we walked abit and found this aquarium.... mmm... fishes =)
looks like a shark, but more like a stone...
But this guy was really stonning the whole time.. just looking into the distance... wheeee =p
But I guess the stone fish still owns in stonning capabilities~~
overall the fishes were quite okay.... nothing special and stuff... somehow I felt Aquaria to be more interesting in some way~~
Maybe cause the place was too brightly lit??? Or maybe cause most of the fishes looked like something you can see in a fish shop??
then the penguins~ last I've heard years ago that they all died XD
you call find all these gift shops all around, they even had a place where they sold honey comb, was tempted to buy but the price tag of RM55 made me turn and walk away...
then we saw this..... ugly creature.... looks like a hippo??? but.... on a diet??
Bear that looks like a dog in some ways...
bear like a boss... literally standing on the top growling.... could either mean "I'm the king!!" or "HELP!!"
Flamingo... it's still a mystery why they stand on one leg, and with so much perfect balance... ballerina's... follow them~~
then came the proud tiger.... but it was too lazy to bother -_-" still a cat...
this was my favorite little animal, the raccoon...
but these were just babies climbing all over their cage~
some showing off and climbing sideways..
and from one side to the other end...
But this one was particularly emo.... sort of like giving the face like he wants to die or something XD
ahhh and this guy was my favorite larrr.... really a natural animal model XD

but when he looked at me and I took this shot.... I'm not sure why but till now when I look at this picture I tend to laugh a little.... sort of a very pitiful face.... but can't blame him... he's in a cage, wish I could blow it up and set him free though...

then we went to see the animal show.... not THAT impressive though.... this was a wild cat, in which his stunt is just hang on it's tail, which is like it's 5th limb... and eat the food... oh wow~~

and after a long wandering, looking at maps n stuff... we've finally came around the mighty king of the jungle, the wild and awesome lion~~
but somehow this lion just looked..... different.... but after observing it for 5-10mins, I think we came to a conclusion that this lion is going crazy soon, because it was giving that face, and walking from one corner of the cage to the other corner of the cage, back, and forth, back, and forth.... woo... XD
then when we came back the tigers were playing... finally awake~
of course I'm not sure what this tiger did to offend the other tiger, but I missed the split second of the tiger giving the other tiger a B**** slap XD
mmm.... turtles.... nothing special...

then we went to the reptile corner... and this was one of the most FAIL event for me....

when we approached the King Cobra's cage, they had a signboard writing "Can you find me???" because they said the King Cobra doesn't like confrontation with humans, that's why it's always cleverly disguised in the surroundings.... so it was more of like a challenge???

Either way, then when I looked beside the signboard, there it was....... "oh... neh?"

fail wei.... but couldn't take a picture because it was all too dark and stuff~~
there was a cage for mice.... but this fella was sleeping until..........
expensive.......

well after awhile more it was near 4:30pm... so we had to leave, couldn't view all the animals though.... next time gotta come earlier and spend like a whole day here???

so far... not bad la Zoo Negara, not as sucky as I thought it would be, but it's not the kinda place you would come every single day, because of distance and the entrance fee of RM20~

But I like animals.. I felt like a tour guide over there, talking about different animal characteristics and such, I guess animal planet and discovery channel does help??? But I love watching those channels too XD

Wallets of the Rich

Whew~~ Wallets.... wonder why people make a big fuss about it?? =p

People have wallets, I have wallet~ you have wallet, we have wallet... but either way I've been using a QuickSilver wallet for quite some time already, but then family and friends have started to complain saying that it's not really manly yet noisy.... why noisy??
Cause of this little thing here gua, when you pull it makes a *SHARRRRRGH!!!* sound, so I guess people mistake it as a kids wallet?? But honestly I couldn't care less...
but out of public desperation and demand I was given a new wallet on Christmas day... some kinda Guy Larose or something wallet, so then decided to change the wallet...

so you take out the notes and the cards, then insert them into the wallet... then comes the coins..........

"eh?"

then later noticed..... oi... why no coin pouch wan????
wahlao... as compared to previous wallet...
in which they had a slot for coins, and where I could put my guitar pick and keys to not worry of it falling off...

then after wondering for a long time, I came up with a conclusion... cause Guy Larose wallet looks expensive, therefore it must be a richman's wallet, and rich people has no need for coins, just huge dollar notes and credit cards~~

you don't see a rich fella ordering nasi lemak from the mamak, you see them having nasi lemak in a Hilton Hotel, in which mainly the prices are RMXX.00 so there are no cents to be used, so no need for coins ~~

ahhh the life of the rich~ =)

I've Got Mail!!

I've got something in the mailbox today~~~

you know it's a sad truth if you're not famous, and it is even more sadder if you don't receive any mail in the mailbox except bills or work and work... getting email also isn't all that oomph for some weird reason... either way my sadness made me go mad to buy something online, sort of like my first purchase online, usually I'd prefer just window shopping through the websites, but since the produce is out of offer in KL, so only way is to buy online to save money....

what did I buy??
honestly I'd prefer opening up the thing myself and take a picture of the opening ceremony but thanks to sisters who ripped the whole thing apart.... ah sigh -_-" there goes the joy....

either way... yeah I got this from Play-Asia.com
a Playstation Move bundle package... along with the game Start The Party!!

And at this moment cries could be heard screaming from all direction going:

"HARRR!?!??! WHY!!!!??? Tee Juan being so manly and all has lowered himself down to such a level to buy something like this!!?!?!"

but yeah la it's not the most manliest game ever as I could say.... but than again getting this bundle set is much more cheaper than buying it separately... not sure how they managed to do the accounts for this but I love it~~

well the Motion Controller by itself would cost around RM175, the PS Eye then would be RM120, and the game would be around RM120 or so... so if we did the maths~

175+120+120 = 415

Of course I did it a few time to make sure my maths won't suck worldwide... so yeah RM415 in total if I bought it separately... and with this bundle I only got it for RM270....

and yeah coming back to the manly part... haha well this isn't the most manliest game ever, but then because this is a party game, I guess it would be very suitable to buy, since always got people coming over to my house, cell groups and stuff... and Chinese New Year is coming too... at least give the kids something to play also =)
Then again it's been a debate going on talking about the Move controller looking like some adult toy... but I couldn't care less la, I'm having lots of fun with it!! In a way I'm honestly meaning using it to play those ps3 games...
But next game ah I don't care la I'm gonna be getting Beat Sketch!!! It's a game where you can just draw on the wall like mad, and you won't get your butt whooped in the process =)

Just tried the demo version and it's really a wow game... for those who like to draw then yes la...
of course if you're more creative and patient you could even do artworks like this~~~
somehow nobody can beat the japanese la XD

But either way this shall be in a whole other post~~ hohohoho...

Oh Nightmare!!

Oh man what a nightmare......

As bad as it gets, especially on my first day in my first class of the year, then lecturer makes a public announcement:

"Tee Juan, you have to register for Greek"

and suddenly my life turned upside down in shock....

because for my course one of the required subjects is the learn a biblical language, which would be either on the side of Hebrew or Greek.... which of course I took Hebrew language first and I think I failed it like mad that's why I'd have to take Greek now if not cannot graduate... oh the horror...

Hebrew was bad enough as it was already... but I had my first Greek class earlier...
and oh yeah it looks english but doesn't sound english.... Psi........

But so far alot of words looks and sound a little familiar to me.... especially some of the Greek historical parts...
I guess mainly because of playing God of War that I learned up most of it.... hoho, you could even see the Omega symbol right there too....

but then language ah.... ah sigh a whole thing to learn.....
if learn about Zeus then maybe not that bad la... since his history is also quite twisted wan in some ways.... oh hohoho

But either way.... oh Greek.... sigh...

Hellloooooo 2011~~

But kinda hard to write the 2011 part since my fingers are still naturally typing 2010 instead.. can't blame it, been doing that for a whole year... either way~

how did you all celebrate the last day of your year 2010???

Some of you had a party, some went all the way to the town of KL and rock like mad, jumping on cars and spraying people... which I don't wanna know what else happened next~~ but for myself...
I guess nothing beats having a moment of enjoying a time with friends and church members on the beach~~

Every year end we would have a moment where the church goes all the way to port dickson for our annual Watchnight camp, where we go as a family, where we celebrate as a family, and where we praise God into the new year as a family~ might sound kinda lame to most others, but sometimes it's the little things like these that makes life a little more interesting to me~~ =)
It's the time where we have fun with one another, and still being a little crazy at it while having fun~~

sure port dickson is always dirty, the sand is hard and the seawater is salty like they pour a few ship-full of salt daily to make it worse, but when you're with your family and friends, it just changes everything~~
Especially in moments like this where a friend of mine would dig a hold every single year in the beach and hoping for someone to drop inside it, but this year... I mean last year I volunteered to step into the hole, which covers to above my knees, then they'd put shoes to act like little feet to transform one into a really height challenged person.... a painful experience if you'd ask me~~
But then again I had fun =)
along with teaching my little niece how to do Wing Chun, a girl has to learn self defense in such a harsh world =p

Do I have anymore pictures of watchnight camp??? Nope sorry, didn't take a single picture this year, though I brought my camera along I've decided that though it'll be really great to capture the memories of one another playing and having fun or doing something else random, I would be restricted to simple movements and can't have fun... so just threw the camera aside this year and went wild with the youths~~

And I felt like that was one of the best choices I've made in a long long long time.... sigh~ as much fun as it is taking pictures of wonderful memories, nothing beats being a part of the memory~~ =)

Now I'm torn between two worlds~~ hahaha... but yeah we had a real great watchnight, and I hope that many more would join next year~~ join join join~~ but I think we could have more ways to improve watchnight camps... maybe next year bring fireworks of little explosive devices to throw at people =)
BUT.... now the new term has started and I'm now back and stuck in college, but only having two courses to take, so it'll be a very relaxed term this year to lean back and stretch one's butt and swing it around =)

2011, how it's gonna be is gonna be a mystery, but just look forward to the challenge and smile hard =P

2010 was great, but 2011 gonna be even better!!

Last Post of The Year 2010

as the year 2010 comes to an end, we sit down and reflect about what have we done and become during the years XD

Well not really sure if this would be a last post of the year or something... but then again it's good to look back every once awhile about your year and see what have you done or become~~ for myself.... well I went through a rough draft of the pictures of my year and decided to share my yearly experience with you all~~ only if you are interested la that's the case~~

Other than that... yeah well they are not in order, neither do I remember the dates for it, if I do ah I can be a God already =p
some interesting parts would be the birthdays I guess...
Where it's mainly a moment of sabo-ing or surprising or scaring or some other weird thing, in a way makes one fear for their coming birthday already rather than looking forward to it...
then comes the moment of a life changing experience when the PSP came into my life, where I've spend hours of life changing moments in giving up things that are important (studies) for a greater cause of saving the world from the evil darklords... so far I've killed a number of them but they are still coming back~ ahh justice never sleeps XD
then came my new laptop, though not the bestest of the besterest, but then again with a slight faster processor I can increase my working speed by 40% so it's not all that bad =)

the extra memory space ain't all that bad too~~
a moment of visiting the House of Joy's Fish Farm.... interesting place but you can barely see any fishes though... no dolphins~
then comes the photoshooting with the opposite sex, not much to say about this though other than wondering how am I going to finish up those upcoming requests for the year end... but then again it has been an interesting experience, meeting new people and learning new stuff, especially in the photography section....

If you'd ask me, most of what I've learned in taking pictures came from taking pictures of girls... what about guys?? That one I haven't did enough experiments yet to say anything~~ XD
a short holiday trip to Port Dickson, and visiting the oldest lighthouse in Malaysian history, but it looks rather new though...
Then comes our Cambodian friend's farewell birthday party, it's been a great few years with him, and we're gonna miss him for sure~~

ah yes the water.... shows of blessing during his prayer~~
Then went to a school's sports day to help them take pictures.... fun but tiring day, but wasn't so bad due to the fact that I was stuck indoors where the other guy was enjoying himself in the outdoors -_-'
And when I thought it was over there was like a family day instantly after the sports day... oh gosh~ =)
Then a full day outing with the elders of the Chinese Church to I forgot where, but I know we went to an Elephant Park or something, long and tiring day....

the photoshoot with Wendy too was really interesting and fun~~ haha I've honestly learned alot during this shoot~~
then a little self portrait with the stitch soft toy.... a little odd but people seem to hate stitch... wonder why~???

A visitation to the Cancer patients in UH, though we might not be able to help or do much... But I guess giving them the little few minutes of being happy could make their lives just a little better??

The time when helped Belinda to photograph her food for her assignment, also marks my first time trying out a food photography session... oh so wonderful XD
And after that I kinda got syok because of the feel and decided to photograph this little strawberry with friends~
Let's not forget the joyous moment during DCIM 2010 when I found out how much more interesting Malaysian Photographers are during an event and what they photograph... either way these are the people from the Photography Society of Petaling Jaya so I don't wanna get involved whatsoever~~
then was kinda dragged to this make up/fashion show competition thingy... was a little odd at first but soon became rather interesting, still wondering why I had to photograph this event?? O.O
Then jumping from one end to another in a crazy gila height at a place near broga Hill... must jump so far and grab a pole at the end, thought I would pass out and die on the spot though... but I couldn't remember anything when I jumped... I think I must've had an experience of fainting for a split second
Ahh yes, Comic Fiesta, was just recently though, a fun time of seeing people dressed up in cosplay, though some might find it weird and disturbing, it's actually quite interesting... even so by seeing the effort the people put in their costumes~~

Not to mention the crazy experience of doing a mime skit in front of a crowd of thousand over pastors, can faint wei...
Along with the college's 50th Anniversary dinner~~ grand oh grand~~
Also was the moment where I finally won something in my life, as in literally, a prize~~ but ended up to be oh not so interesting at the end -_-"
Graduation Salute, where our theme was to wear weird weird hats~~
VBS, where they had over 250 kids gathered in one place, I thought I could die also... but there's not all of them here because they didn't all come on the last day~~

The gila siao holiday when I went to China for 10 days... and I thought it would never end.... really too much people~~
But the interesting part about it was visiting the town of 西塘, a town on the river~~ very nice and ancient with a little China feel~~
And it was a privilege to be able to join and help serve the youths of China for their first Youth camp ever =)
Mooncake festival celebration in college too~~ =)
This is an unforgettable experience at the Silent Retreat.... not because it is so life changing, but because not being able to socialize and talk for 3days and 2night can drive a person mad -_-"
our experience in college playing the game of volleyball using a waterballoon as the ball, and tossing and catching with a towel~ fun game for everyone to try~~
BCM Camp 2010, also at Gambang Water Resort, this was my 2nd time being here.... still the 2-3hrs in the car isn't so pleasing to my butt, but then again I had the chance to sleep in the van lying down between all the cargo so it isn't all so bad in the end~
ahh yes, when your parents are away to UK for two weeks it could only mean total freedom to do whatever you want without anyone stopping you!!!! For my case, it would mean a chance for me to cook myself for the first time without anyone stopping me...

But honestly I prepared a bucket of water beside me just in case~~
Ahh... my first pay for taking pictures, after so much work of free services and finally earning a little for doing, it's actually quite a nice feeling =)

But I hope I don't get too involved with the money till become ki siao or something~~
Youth camp at Gambang Water Resort, this was my first time going there~~ was good and nice =)
Fun in the Sun 2010, bringing all the kids to Cyberpark for fun and games, fun for them which can also bring along agony and stress for the adults =)
Visitation to I-City, since there was a big hoo haa all over in Facebook about people going there so I've decided to go there too, but ended up.... harr like this ni ah???
But overall still managed to try out a wireless flash for the first time~~ it's uber cool~ XD
back to butterfly farm for the second time.... this time not much butterflies left, maybe all died off or they had a lot of new lizard and frog visitors??
Upon meeting back an old old old friend from the Ragnarok Online days, and now she's working as a designer, she designed for me a logo for my pictures... oh wow O.O
BCM Open Day at college... this one too much to write about la, just say it's about some fun fair kinda thing~~ mainly food though~~
Ahh yes almost forgot about the extension to the family, little niece Alyssa, sister's one... mine not so soon... marry first k????

But when she came out was sort of like "yeer so ugly wan??" but the Lord never fails to prove humans wrong ~~ =)
this is her now, quite the charming lady as I would say.... wait till she's 21 then I wonder la... hoho~~
then this was the most recent one, HUGE Camp 2010.... where I had to try, I mean really, try to photograph 370+ people into a single shot... it's kinda hard when you don't have a wide angle lens, so just take 3 shots and combine into one, was hard though but..... erm not bad I think????

Either way.... whew it has been a long year, of course there is more to write about but let's just keep those interesting events up to date huh??? No point thinking about the bad stuff and being emo and such~~ I like being happy and thinking of the weird happy stuff~~

But either way, life isn't so bad if you think about it, yeah we can have some ups and down, we might meet some people who make us laugh, and we might meet some donkey's who dig up holes to piss you off, but then again I guess it's all about perspective and how we look at things in life... of course you can't expect me to have 365 days of joys, that might make out 365 pictures in this post!!!!

But then again... it's good to take a picture and look back at the good days, think of the good stuff, and to also say that hey it wasn't such a bad year, and I'm sure it'll keep getting better and better each and every new day (until the world ends of course) but no matter how... It has been a delightful year for me, and I thank everyone who has made this year weirdly interesting in many ways, through the good and bad days, 2010 has been interesting and fun~~

Let's see what 2011 has to offer huh??? But yeah I'll be away at a camp on the 30th till the 1st of January, so see you all till then la... hohohoho~~
